Bibis Criterion Restaurant - Leeds
I remember taking my little daughter frequently to the small original Bibis in Mill Hill Leeds. She loved being allowed to stretch the pizza bread in the open kitchen and remembers the experience well.
25 years on Oliver Teodorani has expanded his enterprise beyond the fashionable Greek Street Trattoria that made Bibis so famous and familiar. After years of planning and polishing his vision of the latest new Bibis Criterion, we in Leeds are delighted to have such a glamorous and refined restaurant in the heart of the city. What an experience it is to eat there!
Not content with the glitzy and sumptuous Art Deco furnishing of the restaurant, Oliver invited Harkin & Barker to design and furnish his office in a subtle reflection of the same style.
The functional cabinetry is a crisp combination of "plain" and "birds eye" maple with generous bespoke desks, filing cabinets and wall mounted box file cupboards. Soft rounded corners, stylish Art Deco handles in solid pewter and bevelled crystal glass were the ingredients specified by this highly successful restauranteur and his delightful staff.
